WomanSpeak is where women learn the art & soul of public speaking.
WomanSpeak Circles consist of local, ongoing, bi-monthly public speaking gatherings. WomanSpeak Circles are designed to offer places for consistent practice. Why? Because consistency of practice is the key to becoming a powerful and effective public speaker.
The members of a WomanSpeak Circle can come, whenever they wish, to practice and deepen their own artistry of standing up and speaking their truth, telling stories, giving mini talks, etc.
Imagine a transformational Toastmasters for women that has a rockin’ fun & supportive community and a lot of emphasis on speaking authentically, effectively, and from the heart.
One of the best parts about WomanSpeak is that when you invest in a WomanSpeak program, a portion of your initiation fee funds a young girl to go through GirlSpeak – for free. Awesome.
Some of the techniques you will have the opportunity to learn in a WomanSpeak Circle include:
How to transform any fear or self-doubt about public speaking into ease and authentic confidence.
How to speak effectively and powerfully on a panel discussion.
How to deliver your message powerfully, purely and in a way that deeply moves and motivates your listeners.
How to finally own the value of what you have to say and feel free to give it fully.
How to tell a spellbinding story.
How to get clear in an instant on exactly what you want to say – whether you are on stage, at a meeting, or delivering a toast – and then deliver it clearly.
How to clarify what you stand for and say it in a way that captivates.
How to feel free to speak up and share your ideas clearly in group meetings and create engagement.
How to feel free to speak confidently and authentically in front of anyone: peers, an audience, your boss, in meetings, with men co-workers, interviews…you name it. Anywhere you need to trust your voice and deliver your ideas, we’ll help you do it powerfully and memorably!
In becoming a member of a WomanSpeak Circle and going twice per month to a circle in your local area, you can become a Certified WomanSpeak Speaker – a powerful designation for your resume and a mark of personal achievement and triumph.
For too long, public speaking trainings have fostered a masculine model of what leadership and professionalism looks and feels like.
This can have a detrimental effect on the self-esteem of women and girls who desire to speak up and lead.
They look around at masculine leaders (male and female) and subconsciously think to themselves, “I can’t be a leader because I don’t look or feel like that.” Or, “I have to hide or suppress parts of myself in order to speak up and be taken seriously.” This sparks feelings of self doubt, a lack of valuing the wisdom within, and a resistance to speaking up.
It erodes a woman’s sense of inner freedom to lead and share her mind publicly.
WomanSpeak Circles are filled with true celebration, support and fun.
The women you share your circle with will always celebrate you and your voice.
We literally help women to re-wire their nervous systems so that speaking up becomes an experience of safety, power, joy and freedom.
At WomanSpeak, we are not looking for what’s “wrong” in your speaking and how to “fix” it. Instead, we look for what is already brilliant and then, using our proven, unique public speaking techniques, we explore how to make it even more amazing, effective, and powerful.
This is a departure from traditional public speaking training programs. And it works. Women feel SAFE to fully be themselves, to be seen and heard, and to speak their truth and share their ideas. Women and their voices blossom in this kind of environment and culture.
There are other perks too! As we continue rolling out WomanSpeak Circles, members will get special access to some of KC’s highly renowned courses at special rates.
