The WomanSpeak Foundation Course Brisbane, Australia October 20, 2017 to October 22, 2017
What is WomanSpeak?
WomanSpeak is where women learn the art & soul of public speaking. However, this is about so much more than public speaking. This is about you becoming totally free, clear and confident to share your voice so you can have the impact you want to have and change our world.
Do you have a message burning in your heart that you know you need to share?
Are you ready to be completely done with fear and self doubt holding you back?
Are you longing to share your ideas and what you believe, and to step into a new level of leadership?
Do you want to feel total clarity about the core of your message, and the natural confidence to stand up and share it – anytime, anywhere, and with anyone?
Would you love to know exactly how to structure a compelling and memorable thought leadership based talk?
Do you sense that having an intimate community of women cheering you on, and to whom you feel deeply connected, is crucial to your growth and success in work and in life?
If you answered yes to any of these questions, then this program is designed for you.
This is not your ordinary public speaking class.
First of all, we do things differently around here.
We believe that women’s power lives in their connection to their bodies and to nature, so we integrate movement, meditation and time in nature into our curriculum.
It is from this place of deep, soulful connection to our truth that we then begin the task of clarifying our messages and standing up to speak.
For too long, public speaking trainings have fostered a masculine model of what leadership and professionalism looks and feels like.
This can have a detrimental effect on the self-esteem of women and girls who desire to speak up and lead. They look around at masculine leaders (male and female) and subconsciously think to themselves, “I can’t be a leader because I don’t look or feel like that.” Or, “I have to hide or suppress parts of myself in order to speak up and be taken seriously.”
This sparks feelings of self-doubt, a lack of valuing the wisdom within, and a resistance to speaking up. It erodes a woman’s sense of inner freedom to lead and share her mind publicly.
It’s time for a public speaking training that supports women in harnessing the power of their feminine energy, and in being fully who they are, as they stand up to speak, lead and change our world.
This training does exactly that.
WomanSpeak’s founder, KC Baker, has helped thousands of women from all over the world in becoming authentic, powerful public speakers. The practices you’ll learn are unorthodox, fun, and highly effective, and you’ll explore them in an environment filled with celebration and supportive community.
One of the best parts about WomanSpeak is that when you invest in a WomanSpeak training, a portion of your tuition funds a young girl to go through GirlSpeak – for free. Awesome.
How does it work?
The WomanSpeak journey begins with the Foundation Course.
It is a seriously fun, highly effective, in-person course for women to learn the art & soul of public speaking so you can have deeper impact and influence in the world. It is offered as an intimate weekend intensive for a maximum of 20 women.
Women will have the opportunity to spend time at “Space At Kenmore” situated by a small stream and forest. This tranquil, sacred space, is where you will come to gather with other extraordinary women and discover a whole new level of freedom and power in sharing your voice.
The Foundation Course is a weekend filled with deep communion with nature and other incredible women, as well as a deep dive into clarifying your core message, learning practices for sharing your voice authentically and effectively, and gaining the pieces to structure the talk you’ve always wanted to give.
Imagine connecting deeply with nature and tapping into your deepest knowing and what your soul is calling for you to do and say.
Imagine dropping in deeply with a small group of women movers and shakers who will be your cheerleaders and friends going forward as you take bold, courageous steps to share your voice with the world.
Imagine standing in front of all the women while you speak straight and true from your heart what it is that needs to be said…and being so held, supported and cheered on as you do so.
Imagine learning the integral elements of writing a powerful talk that has your audience leaning in and hanging on your every word.
Imagine delicious healthy lunches sitting by the creek, talking about what next bold moves you will make to further the reach and impact of your work.
You will come away from this weekend with so much more than incredible public speaking training.
You will learn the critical components of writing a compelling, thought leadership based talk of any length.
You will walk away with a new freedom and strength within to take your work as a spokeswoman and leader in this world to new heights.
You will feel clarity and power in your message, and a natural confidence to stand up and give it – anywhere, anytime, and with anyone.
You will get to actually deliver a short talk during the weekend, in front of the most supportive audience you’ve ever experienced.
You will develop a powerful, tight community of women friends who are utterly dedicated to your success and the flourishing of your voice in this world.
And so much more…
The course involves lots of celebration, fun and authentic connection with other inspiring women.
It is limited to just 20 women, so you get plenty of time to practice speaking, and every woman will get direct support from KC.
Part of the training includes movement, light hiking, yoga, dance, and learning to speak from a place of being connected with our bodies. This allows us to connect with our deepest knowing, wisdom and presence. And it’s so much fun. (You aren’t going to do this in any other public speaking training program!)
If you are done with holding back your voice, your ideas, and your wisdom, then the WomanSpeak Foundation course is for you.

What Women Are Saying:
I have to say that I wouldn’t nail Fox News Channel hits each week without her! She helped me discover what was holding me back, worked me through it almost overnight, and truly helped me capture the essence of who I am and express it. I’m definitely a fan! — Kym McNicholas, Emmy Award Winning News Reporter, Forbes Reporter and Executive Producer of Pando Daily.
I gave my talk for the first time at an impact investing conference here in SF! It was SO well received – I have never gotten such amazing and heartfelt comments.I have never had so many people who want to have some sort of ongoing connection with me and my work. Wow! — Katherine Collins, Founder of Honeybee Capital, Investment Research Firm.
After over 30 years of giving speeches, I’d stopped speaking because it so terrified me… I just couldn’t do it anymore. Every time I got in front of an audience, I wanted to throw up in sheer terror. Yesterday, I just gave my very first speech in 2 years…and because of my work with you, it was a totally different experience. Everything you said REALLY worked. I had a great time up on stage for the first time EVER! I got so many standing ovations. I can’t thank you enough for what you did for me. — Barbara Stanny, Bestselling Author and Speaker, Overcoming Underearning, Secrets of Six Figure Women, Prince Charming Isn’t Coming.
